Vivek Thapa is an expert in Publishing Industry having an experience of more than 12 years. With his Masters in Business Management in the area of Marketing and Information Technology, he possesses immense knowledge base of PUBLISHING INDUSTRY. His understanding of ‘Tricks of Trade’ in this industry makes him a perfect ‘Troubleshooter’ of Publishing Industry. Mr. Thapa has attended and conducted various corporate training programs to be able to solve business issues in this dynamic knowledge economy. He possesses rich experience in business model development, new product development & technology customization for business processes of publishing industry. He has been formulating strategies for business establishment, market share expansion and overseas marketing.
Mr. Thapa has been associated with TATA McGraw Hill, a US based venture with TATA group of India. His company has been a market leader and he being an instrument behind the growth of the company has by default learnt to spearhead successful business processes independently.
During his professional journey of past 12+ years he has achieved various milestones. Presently, he is heading an entire division of Higher Education for North India, Nepal and Pakistan. He is responsible for developing team and new channel partners for better distribution network across 11 states of Northern India and 2 more countries (Nepal and Pakistan). Within a short span of time, with his immense efforts and skills he headed Nepal from ‘no business’ area to the ‘top’ of the chart of SAARC countries in terms of revenue generation and also finalized the first ever deal of Indian Sub-Continent for Co-Publishing there.
During the tough times of recession, he received ‘MD’s Award for Sales Excellence’ for achieving the revenue targets of his team. Earlier he had received ‘Most Preferred Employee’ award for his outstanding services. Mr. Thapa has been felicitated by various other awards and recognitions from his company. Ever since his association with the company, he has been an outstanding performer and has continuously been given new and challenging job responsibilities, which he has been accomplishing without failure.
