Prof. Atanu Chaudhuri

Prof. Atanu Chaudhuri has a rich combined industrial and academic experience of more than 15 years. He has domain expertise in operations management, supply chain management, manufacturing and service process design, new product development, impact assessment of social interventions, constraint driven innovation, etc. Drawing on his significant industrial and research expertise, Prof. Chaudhuri has developed deep understanding of discrete manufacturing industries like automotive and industrial products, process industries like food processing and pharmaceuticaland service industries like healthcare, food retail and cold chain logistics etc.

Prof. Chaudhuri has presented research papers at various International conferences held in India, UK, Italy, France, Netherlands, Ireland, Hungary, Slovenia, Australia and USA. His research papers have been published in leading journals like Supply Chain Management-An International Journal, Transportation Research: Part E, International Journal of Logistics Management, International Journal of Production Research, R&D Management, Journal of Engineering and Technology Management etc. While working with Deloitte, he had also led research projects and authored publications for executive audience, published in Deloitte Review.

He has taught at leading institutions like IIM Lucknow, IIT Kanpur, University of Verona, Italy and Aalborg University, Denmark. While at IIM Lucknow, he has taught executives through General Management Programmes, Management Development Programmes and workshops. He has also conducted webinars on topics related to food supply chains and cold chain logistics for global executives working in food industries.

In his eventful career experience of 15 years Prof. Chaudhuri has been awarded with “Outstanding Achievement Award” for research and professional excellence at Deloitte; awarded with the “Teacher of the Year Award 2017” by Industry and Global Business Development at Aalborg University, Denmark andnominated as country representative-India for European Operations Management Association (EUROMA).
